In April 2019, this little man was surrendered by a family who - after 3 1/2 years - did not like him anymore. It did not take long for everyone to fall in love with him. He was adopted 2 weeks after arriving at our shelter.

Ophelia & her babies - Greta, Clarita, and Harley have been living with us since December 2012. Ophelia (black bunny with upright ears) is approximately 7-years-old as of January 2018, and her babies are approximately 6 1/2 years-old as of June 2019. Both mom and her babies are very friendly and looking forward to a Forever Home. Harley did develop head tilt in late 2016, but has adjusted very well. The whole family were all adopted together in April 2019.

This sweetheart was pulled from the North Central City shelter. He came from the same hoarding situation as Sherman. He had serious dental issues, which required removal of his front incisors and peg teeth. He is super friendly and quickly found his forever home in January 2019.

Opal is approximately 8-years-old as of March 2019. She is a Santee Alley rescue who has been living with us since November 2011. She was adopted in March 2019 with her Big Herd buddy, Patches, after his new bunny friend passed away unexpectedly.

This sweet boy had come to live with us after he had spent over a year living at the South Los Angeles City shelter. He had already been scheduled to be euthanized in August, but had been overlooked. He came to live with us in September 2014, and is approximately 6 1/2-years-old as of September 2019. He finally found his Forever Home in February 2019.

This sweet pretty girl came to us from South LA City shelter. She and her partner were both born with splay legs. However she was separated from her friend and became lonely. She was soon adopted and currently lives with several bunny friends.

This little boy came to us injured and starving in October 2017. He has a broken rear leg, which could not be repaired. He currently lives in a home with 3 other bunny friends.

This beautiful rabbit was a boarder who was abandoned at our shelter in February 2018. Her soccer ball was the only toy she had from her previous life, and she would frequently curl up and nap with it. Because of her ball, we named her after the famous soccer player. She was adopted by a long time client, who was looking for a friend for her bunny. She was adopted in November 2018. At the time of the adoption, she was approximately 5 1/2 years old.

Pierre was a stray found wandering a neighborhood during a July heatwave. His lively personality and wild hair made him an instant hit with clients, staff and volunteers. It didn't take long for him to find a home. He currently lives with three other bunnies and is adored by his humans. He was adopted in October 2018.

Emmerson was one of three rabbits rescued during a summer heat wave in West Covina in July 2018. He was very young and extremely shy. However, he connected with one of our volunteers who was possibly looking for a friend for her head-tilt bunny. Emmi and Lucas hit it off right from the start, and Emmi quickly settled in, even coming out to socialize with the humans! He was adopted in October 2018.

This beautiful girl came to live with us in the Fall of 2012 when she became red-listed at the East Valley City shelter. She lived in first our East/West Herd and then our Big Herd, where she made lots of bunny friends. We matched her up with another gentle boy about her age, and it was instant love. She was adopted in September 2018.

Samson came to live with us in May 2016. He was found as a young stray in Lake Balboa area. Despite his adorable face, it soon became apparent he is deaf (not unusual for lops). He was fostered for over year before finally being adopted.

Arlo and Willow lost their home after a family crisis. They made quick friends with another bunny who had recently lost her bunny friend.

This cute little boy was one of 7 baby boys rescued from a local horse stable in November 2012. He came to us with a deformed front paw, which is most likely due to a birth defect. He does not let his condition get him down. He has mellowed out over time and found a terrific Forever Home with a new bunny friend.

Max had been living with us since the Fall of 2011. He had come with Opal, but they went their separate ways when they were introduced into our Big Herd. We thought he would make a perfect companion for a recent widow bunny, who was close to his age. They made fast friends and now he lives has a wonderful Forever Home.

This little boy is the only Californian rescued from the local stable in November 2012. He is a sweet, energetic guy who is extremely fond of soft beds. He is approximately 5 1/2 years-old as of January 2018. He is now best friends with another former BL bunny, Silvi.

Diamond came to live with us in September 2013 after he was severely injured by a dog and his owner could not take care of him. He became the mascot of BL because he was always there to greet clients as they walked in the door! He had many bunny friends and was adored by many. He found his Forever Home in April 2018.

Roger came to live with us in August 2014 after he became red-listed at the East Valley City shelter. He was one of our bigger bunnies, but he had plenty of space in our Big Herd. We matched him up with a smaller girlfriend in February 2018 and is currently settling in with his new family.

Dakota was one of the 45 bunnies rescued from a horse stable in Glendale in the Fall of 2012. She was only a baby then, with a bone spur on her left rear foot. She grew up with the other bunnies rescued, and in February 2018 we were finally able to find the perfect Forever Home for her.

These two giant bunnies came to live with us in June 2016, after the East Valley City shelter ran out of space and called us to help them out. They were both a little shy, but soon relaxed. The two bunnies were always seen snuggling with each other. In February 2018, the pair was adopted by one of our long-time volunteers who loves giant bunnies!

These gorgeous Angoras came to us as unweaned babies from the East Valley City shelter in March 2014. These two bunnies were one of more unusual-looking bunnies. Fortunately we found a home in which the owner was willing to take care of their gorgeous coat. They were adopted in January 2018.

Joey came to live with us in January 2016, after he was found under a car during a rain storm. He quickly won over many hearts at the shelter, and found his Forever Home in December 2017.

John has been living with us since May 2011 after he was dumped at our doorstep. He lived for several years in our Big Herd, where he made plenty of bunny friends. We matched him with a new friend and he got a Forever Home for Christmas 2017.

Bogart was one of most handsome bunnies. His owners surrendered him in July 2016. He was severely overweight, and we worked on slimming him down. He had a great personality, and won over many volunteers and staff. In December 2017, we matched him up with Peter, one of our Stable Herd bunnies, after someone expressed interest in adopting both. Peter and Bogart became instant friends and went to their new Forever Home for Christmas.

Violet came with her friend Perry to BunnyLuv in March 2011, after being rescued from a cat hoarder. Both bunnies had some congenital issues, but settled in quickly. Because of their special needs, they lived at our shelter for many years despite being admired by many people. Unfortunately, Perry became very sick in May 2017 and needed to be put to sleep. Violet was fostered for a few months, but in the Fall of 2017, she was matched up with another special needs boy and was adopted November 2017

Boop was found as a stray in West LA. She came to live with us after her rescuer got her spayed and had a mammary tumor removed. She was adopted in September 2017.

Mary came to live with us after spending almost a year at the South LA city shelter. She spent a great deal of time making friends in our Big Herd. She bonded with a goofy older boy and went to her Forever Home in September 2017.

Lily was a boarder that was never picked up by her owners. She only lived with us for a few months before being adopted by one of our volunteers in the spring of 2017.

Bianca was rescued along with 2 other young bunnies from an overcrowded situation at the East Valley City shelter. She grew up to be a gorgeous and confident bunny. We matched her up with a boyfriend, who looks very much like her. She found her Forever Home in May 2015.

Tiffany was surrendered to us in February 2017, when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. She still came every week to sit with Tiffany, so we made sure Tiffany's new home was absolutely perfect. We matched her up with a gentle boy and Tiffany went to her new home in May 2017.
